Joseph grew up amongst the redwoods and farms of Sonoma County, California. His long-standing passion for building and design led him to the University of California at Berkeley where he graduated with a BA in Architecture in 2004. After completing his degree, Joseph worked for an Architect/Developer/Builder in Southern California, and then an Architecture firm specializing in senior housing and assisted living communities in Northern California.
Joseph is currently doing freelance work, designing, developing, and building anything he can. His work is influenced by traditional regional architecture, as well as contemporary and sustainable design. Always looking for a reason and system, the work is modern while retaining comfort and knowledge of vintage buildings.
